Draft for owner approval · updated March 4, 2026
This notice is a working draft and has not been approved by the service owner or counsel. Do not treat it as a finalized legal policy. Operator and company legal details, retention periods, and deletion timelines are not finalized.
Information handled
Slackalendar may process account information such as name, email address, profile details, and authentication identifiers; organization membership and role information; tasks, comments, teams, dates, and other content people submit; and support requests. Exact data depends on the features used.
Slack access and scope
When an authorized person installs Slackalendar, Slack returns workspace identifiers and installation authorization data needed for the integration. The app may receive or process Slack identity, workspace, channel, and interaction data relevant to features the team chooses to use. The specific permissions requested are shown by Slack in the install authorization flow and may change; review that screen before approving. Slack content is not intended to expose another company's information. Account linking uses a separate Slack sign-in flow and does not itself grant organization membership.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, provide organization-scoped task and calendar features, connect Slack where enabled, respond to support requests, maintain service operations, and process an export or an owner-authorized deletion or cancellation request. A request submitted in the company console is pending review; it does not itself complete a deletion or cancellation.
Service providers and sign-in
The currently identified providers are Replit for hosting and database services, Brevo for transactional email, and OpenAI only when an organization enables an OpenAI-backed feature. Users may authenticate through Google, GitHub, or Slack; Slack can also be connected as an integration. Provider processing is subject to the configuration and terms applicable to those services. This draft does not make a claim about provider data retention, training, legal compliance, or service-level commitments.
Optional OpenAI processing
If an organization enables an OpenAI feature, information supplied to that feature may be sent to OpenAI for processing. Do not enable it or submit information unless the organization has reviewed the feature, its provider terms, and the data involved. OpenAI processing is not described as active when the feature is not enabled. No claim is made here about model training, legal status, or retention by OpenAI.
Retention, access, and deletion
Account and workspace data are retained to operate the service. Exact retention periods, backup expiration, support-request retention, and timelines for deletion after a request have not been finalized. Users can request access or correction through the public support request form. Organization owners can submit an organization deletion request from the company console; it is not an immediate deletion. Uninstalling or disconnecting Slack and removing optional OpenAI configuration may affect future processing, but does not by itself establish when stored records are erased.
Security and sessions
The app uses account authentication and session cookies. Sensitive information should not be sent through support. Specific security controls and any independent assurance have not been described or verified in this draft, so no certification or security guarantee is made here.
Billing, cancellation, and company details
Pricing, billing cancellation procedures and timelines, the service operator's legal name, address, and other company legal details are not finalized. The console can submit a cancellation request where authorized; that request is pending review and is not confirmation that billing has ended.
Questions
Use the public support form to submit a persisted request pending review. A response is not guaranteed until the operator support workflow is approved.
